You could become a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative today!
So many people think being a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is a great job, Why?
- Mostly beautiful coworkers.
- Freedom from a boss breathing down your neck, a day with your boss every now and then, but most days - Freedom.
- Flexibility - if you need to take off early on Friday to go to the doctor, arrange your schedule to allow it. It is that easy.
- Dinners/social events that introduce new products.
How can you see if you can find a job as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative?
Check out medreps.com or of course ajcjobs.com.
If you haven’t had sales experience or anything in science, try a tough sales job - copier sales, etc. to see if you can make it.
Many times if you get in and work successfully in a known tough market, you can make the transition.

Mostly beautiful coworkers?
When did looks surpass communication skills and plain old-fashioned hard work?
Is this a job selling cosmetics or modeling opportunities?

This ad misrepresents the health care industry. Beauty, free time, and more money are all at your fingertips if you pay for their head humter service. Please do not waste your twenty dollars. This ad makes it sound like pharm. sales reps do not have to work, and what employer would want to pay this company five hundred dollars to access potential employees, and advertise this image to them?

I don’t actually think this is an ‘ad’ because the writer didn’t ask for any money or name any specific companies.
Sounds like she intended to highlight a niche area within sales. Don’t all sales people usually have to be attractive?

this seems to insinuate that pharmaceutical reps dont have sales skills. this is an interesting point of view, seeing that this author works for a resume writing company.! we as reps may have flexible hours, but the work is put in to make the numbers. i work at night, doing educational dinners and breakfasts before the doctor sees patients. it is sad that the first thing pointed out is our coworkers may be attractive and later she mentions we have flexible hours. what about all the weeks of training i have completed and continue to complete? what about the college degree and masters tha i worked so hard for? what about the stress from not making quota? does this further insinuate that selling copiers is more difficult? i believe sales is hard, no matter what your product. also, my boss seems to evaluate me more than now and then. maybe i am working for the wrong company.
