Coke announces 125 layoffs

Coca-Cola will lay off up to 125 staffers by the end of this year, which accounts for 3.5 percent of their 3,500 North American nonhourly full time employees. [Read full story]

Most of these jobs are based out of Atlanta and this moves comes as Coke struggles to increase productivity through reorganization and profitability.

I think it has great impact on lots of families. Hopefully it won’t affect the quality of the product. I’m considering relocating to Atlanta in the near future and it always nice to know the city your considering has large companies and now that this one is down sizing it makes you think a little longer
