"Critical Care Nursing: Visioning Beyond the Basics," a conference sponsored by the Alabama and Georgia chapters of the Association of Critical Care Nurses, will be at Atlanta Marriott Century Center. Topics will include coagulation conundrums in critical care, innovative therapies for aortic aneurysm repair and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers is hosting its fourth annual fall perinatal conference from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the hospital's new Birth Place East Tower. Conference speakers will address topics of interest to registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists, obstetrical office staff, medical and nursing students, and other members of health care teams. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta will host an annual pediatric nursing conference.
