A program by the Georgia chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association will include updates on best practices in the treatment of psychiatric emergencies, domestic violence and post-traumatic stress disorder. The event will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Norcross. Attendees will receive a course workbook and six CEU units. "Brainstorm 2007," a neuroscience conference, will be at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The conference will focus on trends in neuroscience care.
