"An Evidence-Based Practice Toolkit for Bedside Nurses," a nursing research conference, is jointly sponsored by WellStar Healthcare, Emory Healthcare and St. Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta. The event will be held at the WellStar Development Center in Atlanta from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Conference keynote speakers will include nurse researchers and authors Bernadette Melnyk and Tim Porter-O'Grady. The conference will engage direct-care nurses as well as nurse administrators, nurse managers, clinical nurse specialists, nurse educators and nurse researchers who are interested in conducting research and embracing evidence-based practice in clinical health care environments. An application for contact hours has been submitted. The conference registration fee is $75 and includes conference materials, breakfast and lunch. The Annual Educational Conference of the Case Management Society of America-Atlanta Chapter will be from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Georgia International Conference Center in College Park. The theme of the conference will be "Solving the Puzzle: Components of Case Management." The keynote speakers will be Connie Commander, president of the Case Management Society of America, and ethicist and columnist John Banja. Six contact hours will be offered.
